Cross-Continental Pumpkin Carving Challenge

All photo credit goes to Captain, who insisted on staying in the garage the entire time and taking pictures of us. I think he was more than amazed by Skype.
Also, I don't really know if "Cross-Continental" is the phrase I want but I tried to look it up and failed, thus I have ceased to care.

Getting the RENT Tattoo

Getting the RENT Tattoo

Zee artist's chair.
Some of the shee on the walls of the tiny tiny room.

Getting the RENT Tattoo

The badass plastic they put over it is awesome.

Please note that the sepia is not my fault, it was my father's doing.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

Joan and Sharon hours before a big fight they had.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

Kate tries to eat an apple pie for warmth. I mock her.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

Kate is tentative. "I can go in farther." (Note to Kate: I finally understand the difference.)
I think this is Kate's Edna Pontellier picture.

I am overjoyed to be at the beach...in October...with Kate.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

The water in this picture reminds me of a poem I wrote for Hoch's class.
We spot Captain and the Fairy kayaking.
The seagulls tear into our bag of Goldfish. Kate is far more distraught than I am.
So the beach was spotted with jellyfish. I am kind of shocked that neither of us got stung; we noticed them after we had waded in the water and walked around for a while. Later, I made Kate promise me that she would pee on me a la the episode of FRIENDS if I got stung. Now that is friendship.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

I show Kate some juggling tricks.
Kate practices her mad beginner's skillz.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

We finally take a picture together.
Kate finds Bradley, an adorable plastic lobster left behind by an unobservant parent. Huzzah! New car mascot!

Fuckin Popeyes.

Such the flattering angle.

This is the greatest video I have ever seen. Ever. It makes me happier than the thoughts of fluffy bunnies and rainbows combined. Also, no comments on Window's Media Player cutting off the second quotation mark. I am well aware.

Finding Bradley - The Beach 10/04/09

Kate is infinitely pissed that sand got into her brand new ear buds.
Kate's all, "Action shot!" After I take it I realize it's blurry.
"Go again! Go again!" This is Kate's "We're running out of stairs, Pat!" face.
So we needed to waste some time before the movie. Like...an hour's worth. So we (I) decided that we should stay and play the crane games.

Meeting Anthony Rapp Was A *~Total Blur~* (9/29/09)

"Let's do this shit!" Patricia shouts as she grips the steering wheel tightly. Katheryn finishes her chicken wrap and snaps a picture.

This would be seconds before jumping if driving into NYC at rush hour was sky diving.

Please note that almost all of the pictures documenting our driving experience were taken by Kate. I'm not giving her credit after each one because if she sues me she is so not getting a big birthday present this year.

YEAH, TIF!

The view of...the rail...on the GWB.

Well done, Katheryn.

Into the fire!

Joan/Sharon aka the lesbian couple who live inside my GPS can get us anywhere.
